Counselling that honours your story

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, leaving us feeling stuck, disconnected or uncertain about the way forward.

You may be experiencing anxiety, loss, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, questions around identity, or simply a sense that something no longer feels right.

I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space for individuals and couples to explore what is happening, understand patterns and make sense of difficult experiences.

Whether you come to counselling on your own or with a partner, we can explore what matters to you and work towards greater understanding and meaningful change.

How I work

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth when they are met with empathy, acceptance and understanding. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to work alongside you as we explore your experiences, make sense of difficult emotions and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.

My approach is humanistic, relational and trauma-informed. I recognise that our identities, relationships, culture and life experiences shape how we understand ourselves and the world around us. I therefore work in a culturally sensitive and anti-oppressive way, with curiosity about the experiences and identities that are important to you.

Our work is collaborative. We will move at a pace that feels right for you, building a therapeutic relationship where there is space for trust, honesty, reflection and change.

I offer counselling online, giving you the flexibility to meet from a private space that works for you.

Individual and couples counselling available.

Is counselling for me?

You don't need to be in crisis to come to counselling. You may be facing something difficult, feeling that something needs to change, or simply wanting a space to understand yourself and your experiences more deeply.

  • Life feels overwhelming.

  • You're struggling with loss or change.

  • Relationships have become difficult.

  • You feel disconnected from yourself.

  • You're questioning your identity or direction.

  • You want to understand recurring patterns.

  • You long for healthier relationships.

  • You simply need someone to really listen.

Couples Counselling

Relationships can become strained through conflict, disconnection, changes in circumstances or patterns that feel difficult to shift. You may want to communicate differently, understand each other better, rebuild connection or explore what you want for your relationship.

Couples counselling offers a space where both of you can be heard and where we can slow things down enough to understand what is happening between you.

My role is not to take sides or decide who is right, but to support you in recognising patterns within your relationship, developing greater understanding of one another and considering how you would like to move forward.

What to expect

I offer a free 30-minute initial conversation so we can talk about what brings you to counselling, what you are hoping for and whether working together feels right.

If we decide to work together, sessions are usually weekly and take place online. We will review our work together as we go, making sure that the therapy continues to meet your needs.

For couples, our work will focus on the relationship between you, creating space for both perspectives and supporting you to understand the patterns that may be affecting your connection.
